The Glasgow University Tumbling Competition was held on 22nd February at Dundee’s fantastic Gymnastics facility, the Dick McTaggart Centre, and attracted a large number of Tumblers from across Scotland. DGC2K’s Tumbling section enjoyed a highly successful competition with Caitlin McAuley (12, Morgan Academy) achieving the highest score of the entire competition beating over 50 other strong competitors, both male and female, taking the Gold medal in her section. She was followed by the club’s Andrew Watson who had the second highest overall score. In other sections of the competition, Lyndsey Gordon and Tia Wilson placed 2nd and 3rd respectively, Iona Birse came 3rd in her group and Tegan Gaffney placed 4th in her section.

A very successful day for the DGC2K Tumblers proving yet again that they are a strong presence in the Scottish Tumbling community.
