Dundee based Kanzen Karate are to host one of the biggest names in World Karate on a major international seminar to be held in Dundee on Saturday 5th September. Christophe Pinna is a 4x World Karate Federation (WKF) World Champion, former French national team coach and has been awarded the French National Order of Merit (Ordre national du Merite) for services to karate and his country. He also is a French national TV star and is constant demand throughout the World.
The Seminars, to be held at the Lynch Centre over 4 hours on Saturday 5 September, will attract Karate practitioners from England, Europe, Wales and Ireland. The Seminars are open to all martial artists, regardless of style or club.
Kanzen Karate Chief Instructor Sensei Roy O'Kane said: "We are delighted that Christophe Pinna agreed to come and teach in Dundee. In terms of competition Karate, he is one of the biggest names in the world and his technical ability speaks for itself.
"It is a major coup for us, as it will be the first time he has taught in the UK in years and we have karate practitioners coming from all over Britain attending. We are ambitious in our pursuit of karate excellence, that's why we are bringing the best Karate instructors in the world to Dundee.
