Dundee based Kanzen Karate played host to a very special guest on Saturday 13th January as 2x former World Karate Champion, Sensei Christine Pullan 7th Dan, visited the city to teach at their monthly squad training session. Sensei Pullan, a former British Squad Member and Amateur Martial Association (AMA) National Squad Coach, conducted the training as Kanzen Karate Scotland gear up to host the 7th WUKF World Karate Championships for All Ages in June. The event will bring thousands of athletes, coaches, officials and spectators to Dundee Ice Arena for the 4 day event.
Commenting on the seminar, Kanzen Karate Chief Instructor Sensei Roy O’Kane said: “We were delighted that Sensei Christine Pullan came to Dundee to conduct our January squad sessions. Being a 2x World Kata Champion means she is a very sought after instructor and we were privilged to host her. The members thoroughly enjoyed her teaching and fact we can attract instructors of such a high calibre is testament to the achivements of our club.”
